About Owner Of A Lonely Heart

Released in 1983, “Owner Of A Lonely Heart” was the lead single from Yes’s album 90125 — named after its Atlantic Records catalogue number. The album was produced by Trevor Horn, a man who in the same decade also produced Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Art of Noise, ABC and Seal. His touch on this track is unmistakeable: the stabbing guitar intro, the crisp gated snare, the layers of synthesizer that somehow still sound enormous. It became Yes’s biggest commercial hit and their only song to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Classic prog fans were horrified. Everyone else loved it.

About Raise Your Glass

“Raise Your Glass” came out in October 2010 as the lead single from P!nk’s Greatest Hits… So Far!!! It was written with Max Martin and Shellback — two producers who between them are responsible for a significant portion of the last two decades of pop music. The song is an outsider anthem, a celebration of the wrong crowd in all the right ways. It reached #1 in the UK, Australia, Germany and several other countries, and remains one of P!nk’s signature tracks.
